Cover and blurb of "Claimed" promised a light but sexy story of girl meets shifter = romance and of course, I didn't expect to read something high literature but I didn't expect a plot that abandons common sense as soon as the MCs catch their first whiff of each other either. As I'm writing this review I've only read about 30% of the story and I'm sorry, but I just could not read on without sharing my opinion first. And to be honest, I'm not sure if I ever will finish this book at all. Yes, that's how far the characters here have annoyed me.Addison starts out as a smart and independent woman (if maybe a bit too feminist for my tastes) but after she encounters the oh-so-alpha and sexy jaguar shifter Griffin she turns meek and loses all her self-confidence. Well, and Griffin, he's your stereotypical dominant alpha who has issues accepting that he has feelings... some may say that characters need to be flawed at the beginning so that they can develop but here the set up failed and after reading about one-third of the story I have zero interest to get to know these two better.A compelling plot or intriguing problem to solve might have motivated me to read on but, no, sorry, the jungle foliage must have swallowed that one up as well... all we get here is the same old story of damsel is in distress, meets a hunky man, who is miraculously able to solve her troubles for her - but wait, only for a price, which is *surprise surprise* giving birth to his offspring to save his dying shifter clan ... *yawn* been there done that like times a dozen.Maybe I was just in too an uncharitable mood when I first picked up this book but there were also too many little bothering details piling up which entirely destroyed any enjoyment of reading about Addison and how she got claimed by her jaguar. Okay, I admit, the sexy scenes so far were hot as hell and tastefully descriptive but not even those could convince me to read on.Anyhow, this is as far as I got with this story. Maybe it will turn around in later chapters and maybe I will find out someday. Though if you've read the other books of the series (which I haven't) and liked them, don't let my opinion deter you ... but right now I won't waste another minute on this book since, you know ... there are too many other books yet to be read and so little time...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

They finds the ruins and the Jaguars clean and with the help of the leader her helps her to find a rare flower and she agreed his condition without asking what it is.....she's to have a baby to strengthen the clan. Well drama drama drama they fall in love and her sister shows up and the priest save'sher
How I adore this book! The way the characters played out and matched up, the way the story seemed over and then turned a corner and got even more exciting, all of this, and more, are reasons to love it. Add a beautiful love story and a HEA that ended with new beginnings and this book is one you won’t want to put down until the very end. I look forward to reading more from this author.
A quick, enjoyable read that sets your heart racing! Alpha males and strong women abound in this fast passed, action filled book.
Good read. Strong characters and lots of steam between them. Haven’t read the other books in the series and hope they are as good as this one.
Addison will do anything to save her sister even brave the jungle to get a cure. She goes into this jungle searching for an orchid that has healing properties that she hopes will help cure what is making her sister sick. What she didn't counter on was running into an actual Jaguar shifter but she will gladly give him whatever he wants for his help. When Griffin sees Addison he knows that she is the one to help his pack survive and tells her he'll help her with one condition. She agrees without waiting for his condition and then when she learns is stunned but still willing to give him a child that he wants. Griffin thought after losing his first mate that he'd never be capable of loving another again but when Addison is taken from him he knows that he will do whatever he has to claim her for his own. Will Griffin be able to get Addison back? Will Addison's sister be cured?This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
